According to the Chinese lunar calendar, 2010 will be the Year of the Tiger. It began on February 14, 2010 and ends on February 2, 2011. The Year of the Tiger has many meanings. It signals bravery. It is the sign of courage. It points to protection to keep evils away from the household. The characteristics of the tiger give meaning to what the year holds for many. It is powerful, gracious, independent and brave. It can be loving and friendly but also short tempered and selfish. Tigers seek power and attention, and are natural leaders. They are some time envious. The tiger takes advantage of many circumstances. They can be rebellious and are always searching for excitement. They exhibit courage in situations they find themselves in.
At chiff.com the following are some general predictions for the Year of the Tiger:
"The year of the Tiger is traditionally associated with massive changes and social upheaval. Therefore, 2010 is very likely to be a volatile one both on the world scene, as well as on a personal level.
Tigers who thrive on chance and unpredictability are best suited to navigating the many upheavals predicted in the year ahead. Those compatible with the Tiger - the Dragon and the Horse in particular - may also find 2010's erratic circumstances inspiring them to ever bolder action, and ultimate success.
Those born under other signs will suffer, by degree, depending on how flexible they are to change. Those who can keep a steady hand on the helm may be shaken, but undeterred by the typically thunderous events foreseen in any Tiger year".
So ask some of your locker friends whether they were born under the sign of the tiger. Look at whether their characteristics match those above. Find out what they think about the year ahead. Is their thinking consistent with the above predictions? You may be surprised how ell you get to know some of your locker friends by comparing them to the tiger.
We at Spacelocker wish you all an awesome Year of the Tiger. And just like the tiger, be bold, courageous and focused in your decisions this year. You will achieve many rewards.
